Red Mountain was a very nice golf course and well worth playing. It was set in the mountains of Phuket and you had lush vegetation everywhere you played. There was a lot of water but none that was difficult to negotiate. Our caddies gave us very good advice which meant that our scores were reflective of our ability, not lack of knowledge.
The hole featured above was the 14th, which was 145m. My caddy suggested an 8 iron (which normally goes 110m) and she was correct, I landed on the middle of the green. Shows how much drop there was from tee to green. Rosie used a 7 iron and went through the green.
They also gave us a 300B beverage voucher each, which managed to buy us a tea, coffee, smoothy and three beers. Pretty good value. Before you think I am an alcoholic, we allowed a single guy to join up with us so I used our cards to pay for the beers.
We would go back to this course again.
