We played Thana City today since they have a special on Mondays. Being back in Bangkok meant that the course was very crowded. Since on Neil and Bruce played, they put another golfer with us, he was a very nice Japanese restaurant owner named Koji.

The resort was a gated community and had the best security of any course we have played so far. The club house was very modern and the overall booking in experience was excellent.
Unfortunately all three of us did something wrong on the first hole, a par 5, and we all got 8’s. In Bruce’s case he landed in the bunker and the sand was so soft that he fluffed the first shot and then overshot the second shot.
After this Neil and Bruce scored pretty much the same until we got to number ten, where Bruce got a birdie, followed by a par to get a six stroke lead. 13, 14 and 15 Neil parred while Bruce double bogeyed putting us back on track again until 17 where Bruce pulled away to win by a stroke.

The course was well set out, but did have a few holes with water going all the way across the front of the green, You had to either take it on with a long second shot, or lay up and then come in from 100m. This made it difficult to pick up strokes around the green with good short chips.
Overall we found this course to be very enjoyable.
