We arrived in Bangkok around 11:30pm so didn’t do much except go to bed. Up early the next morning for breakfast and to catch up with Deb and Neil (our NSW friends that Bruce spent a year with in British Columbia in 1991).

After breakfast we went off to Suwan Golf Club. This was about an hour out of Bangkok and is an older more established club. It was very well set up with a lot of water.

The course had several holes where you need to carry the ball a long way off the tee to go over water or scrub, they looked more daunting than they actually were, but still scary. It was very hot and humid so Rosie really struggled towards the middle of the game, fortunately it became overcast in the last part. Really good course which I would recommend a return visit to.
