Mission Hills GC Last day in Phuket

After a pleasant late breakfast we left for golf at Mission Hills for 11am game. It was expected to rain all day and we were the last group to hit off.

We were met by a young trainee learning English and she showed us where to go, took us to the locker room and escorted us to the starter point. What great service.

We were then joined by the PR lady who asked to follow us around and take video and photos for their social media account. Very unusual, but it turned out to be a lot of fun.

The course was beautiful with some fantastic views of the many offshore islands in the region. There was an abundance of water that you had to hit over, lay up to or just try to avoid.

Neither one of us lost a golf ball but that is about the only good thing you could say about our standard of golf. Many duffed approach shots or fluffed fairway shots, which was disappointing. No rain though, so we were lucky.

After our game we packed our luggage, which was in our waiting taxi and then had a very pleasant 20 minutes in the locker room showering, washing our hair and cooling down. Off to the air-conditioned restaurant, which they turned on just for us. We had our own personal valet serving us drinks and food, we were the only customers.

Our PR came and chatted for another hour helping to fill in our time and chatting about our golf experiences and travels. She was gorgeous and a pleasure to chat with. We spent an easy two hours in the lounge for a total cost of $50.

Our waiting taxi then took us to the airport in time to check in for our flight home. BEST LAST DAY OF HOLIDAY EVER.

Looking forward to seeing what they do with all the photos and video.
