Chiang Mai Highlands Golf and Spa Resort

After our last game in Hua Hin, we took a taxi to Bangkok and then flew to Chiang Mai to stay in the Wealth Boutique Hotel again, which is situated inside the walled city. First night we walked up the street to Kat’s Kitchen to see if it was still just as good. It was going so well, that they expanded into the next shop to increase their seating capacity, and they still had a queue waiting to get in.

The next day, all of us went to play at Chiang Mai Highlands GC and Graeme thought it was the best course he had played at so far. The course was in very good condition but as usual, the greens were a bit slow due to being cored and sanded recently. Nearly all the courses we have played at this time of the year have recently been sanded, just like at home, so it is not to be unexpected.

Bruce had a very consistent game here, so obviously enjoyed the day. The others struggled on the first nine, but all came home well. Another great experience.
